Common questions

See below for additional details about the weekend.

Can my children attend your wedding?

We like your little ones and know they will enjoy Saratoga if you decide to bring them. However, we would like our ceremony and reception to be a place for adults only. Please reach out to the bride if you need to coordinate a local babysitter for Saturday evening.

What should I wear? are you really doing a black tie wedding in wyoming?

Yes we are! Dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception is black tie. Men, tuxedos please. Women, evening gowns or cocktail dresses of similar elegance. Sundresses or standard suits are not appropriate for Saturday. We realize we are in Wyoming and have other events where you can throw a cowboy hat on, but plan to wear your best for Saturday! If you have any problems achieving the appropriate level of attire please reach out to the bride or groom and we would be happy to help! See The Weekend page for attire details per event.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

We will have horses available! Kidding. For the ceremony and reception we will have shuttles running loops from the Hotel Wolf, Saratoga Hot Springs Resort, and the Old Baldy Club. We will also have drivers on call for any late night guests who missed the final shuttles. Check out the Shuttles listing on The Weekend page for details.

How do I get to the cookout?

Simplest Way: Follow directions to OBC Cookout on Google or Apple Maps [link here].

Manual Way: From the entrance at Old Baldy Club continue 2.5 miles down Ryan Park Road. You will come to a split in the road. Turn right at the split on Cedar Ridge Road and continue 2.5 miles. You will come to another split and see a sign to stay straight for the cookout. Stay straight. Continue another half mile and you’ll be there!

are there any covid-19 concerns or restrictions?

If you’re concerned: 95+% of our guest list we’ve personally confirmed are vaccinated. For those few others, we’re requesting they grab a negative test before arriving. The vast majority of your time with us will be spent outside including our cookout, ceremony, and reception.

If you’re not concerned: Have a great time and if someone voices discomfort be cognizant.

Restrictions: There are currently no restrictions. We are bringing a lot of outside folks to our little town that already has limited staff so be friendly and honest and everyone will have a blast!

Are photos or videos allowed?

We ask that you please respect our privacy and refrain from taking photos or videos during the wedding ceremony. This is very important to us. Please note we have one of our favorite photographers shooting the event and will be more than happy to share all the images with our guests.

After the ceremony, we welcome you to take photos or videos during the reception.

I have a question not answered here. How do I contact you?

We are happy to help with anything and everything. Please reach out to the bride or groom.
